Your publishing questions

Clear answers about working with us, from your first conversation to proposals, approvals and the life of your book.

Can I talk to you before applying?

Yes. An idea, an outline or a few poems is enough to start a conversation. Use the WhatsApp, phone or email links to tell us where you are and what you need.

Does Samman finance every book it accepts?

Our publishing services are author-funded: you pay for the work agreed in your proposal. We review your material and goals before preparing a commercial quote.

What will publishing my book cost?

The manuscript, editorial support, design, print specifications, quantity and any distribution or campaign work shape the cost. Ask us to explain the scope, exclusions and revision terms before you decide.

Do I need a finished manuscript?

No. You can start with an idea or outline, or bring a finished draft. Tell us whether you want to write the book yourself or need help developing it.

Who makes the editorial and pricing decisions?

People do. Our editors review your application, and quotes, publishing decisions and approvals remain human-reviewed.

How will I know what is happening?

Your author account brings together project stages, documents, approvals and updates. Ask us which stages and decisions apply to your project when we agree the scope.

How do I share my manuscript?

Include a view-only Google Drive or Docs link in Start a Book. You control access. Contact us before sharing sensitive material if you need to discuss confidentiality.

How do payments work?

Payments use the agreed QR, wallet or bank-transfer route. You can submit proof for staff review. Follow the terms in your confirmed proposal or order.

What if I have a concern?

Contact us with your project or application reference and explain what needs attention. Our contact and terms pages identify the route for enquiries and complaints.
